These striking wool whipcord trousers are cut with high-rise 'parallel' legs, true to the trousers Edward used to cut at Nutter's of Savile Row in the early 1970s. Mick Jagger wore our parallels, so did Elton John, Justin de Villeneuve, and The Beatles. The legs aren't flared, but are cut with straight lines to fall from the hips, which gives the impression of a subtle flare when walking - especially when finished with our preferred two-inch turn-ups. Two fob-flap pockets on the front are another nod to Edward's 1970s trousers; un-button the flaps and wear like jeans when the mood takes you.
Our parallel-leg trousers are a contemporary take on a classic Nutter's of Savile Row pattern - as seen in the early 1970s. In smooth wool whipcord with a denim-like appearance, this sleek, softly textured pair offers a contemporary alternative to classic grey flannel.
