An experimental composition produced by splicing an image of John Lennon and Yoko Ono with an image of the sky above London. The photo of Lennon and Ono was taken by David Nutter at Apple Records just hours after John had changed his name to John Winston Ono Lennon, following Lennon and Ono’s wedding in Gibraltar in March 1969.

In the photograph, Lennon and Ono are lying together with hospital microphones recording the sound of their hearts beating to create the track The Wedding Album, which was released later that year. The song is 20-minutes long; an avant-garde creation in which only the couple’s heartbeats can be heard, overlaid with each calling the other’s name. Nutter took the photo as Lennon lifted his jumper up to record.
